Prof. Merdan Fayda is a distinguished Radiation Oncologist specializing in advanced radiotherapy techniques, including 1.5 Tesla MRI-guided radiotherapy, stereotactic radiotherapy, IMRT, image guided radiotherapy, and brachytherapy. After completing his residency at Istanbul University Institute of Oncology in 2004, he earned his associate professorship in 2012 and full professorship in 2017. His clinical and research interests focus on breast, gynecologic, urologic, head and neck cancers, with expertise in 3D and 4D prostate brachytherapy. Currently, he chairs the Department of Radiation Oncology at Istinye University and practices at Liv Hospital Ulus. Prof. Fayda is also the co-founder and chairman of the Fayda Science Foundation.
