Dr. Nasser Al-Salmani, born in 1976, began his career in healthcare as a nurse at Rustaq Hospital in Oman after graduating from the Rustaq Nursing Institute in 1998. He furthered his education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University in the United States in 2003 through a government scholarship. He continued his studies in the UK under the British Scholarships Oman (BSO) program, earning an MSc in Managing Quality and Services Improvement in Healthcare from Birmingham University in 2006. In 2017, he completed his academic journey with a Ph.D. in Quality Management from Vrije University of Amsterdam. He holds prominent positions as the Director of School and University Health at the Omani Ministry of Health and as the Vice President of the Arab Coalition for Adolescent Health and Medicine.
