Dr. Joshua Muliira is an Advanced Practice Nurse and Nurse Educator. His clinical practice focuses mostly on survivorship care in cancer, and his research focuses on symptom science,
caregiving, and health promotion in cancer patients. His current research in Oman explores chemotherapy-related cardiotoxicity, missed nursing care in inpatient oncology units, and
symptom clusters in lymphoma patients. Dr. Joshua has garnered his experience in nursing education, clinical practice, and research from work done in developing and developed countries such as Uganda, Oman, and the USA.
