Dr. Artefaa Al-Shamari is the first Qatari oncoplastic breast surgeon at Hamad Medical Corporation. A graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, she heads the Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Unit. Beyond her clinical role, she founded and chairs the Qatar Breast Cancer Association, is an ambassador for the Qatar Cancer Society, and chairs the Qatar Oncoplastic and Reconstruction Conference. She combines her medical expertise with a Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership.
